The US military aid package contains a battery of Patriot surface-to-air missiles.
The US Department of Defense announced the allocation of another military aid package to Ukraine in the amount of $225 million. The press service of the department reported this on Thursday, July 11.
The new US military aid package will be provided within the framework of a mechanism that provides for the supply of weapons directly from the US military.
The assistance package contains:

a Patriot battery;

National Advanced Air Defense Missile Systems (NASAMS) ammunition;

Stinger anti-aircraft missiles;
-
ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS);
-
155 mm and 105 mm artillery shells;
-
tube-launched optically tracked wire-guided (TOW) equipment and missiles;
-
Javelin and AT-4 anti-tank systems;
-
ammunition for small arms;
-
explosive ammunition;
-
spare parts, maintenance and other auxiliary equipment.
This is the eighth package approved by US President Joe Biden since late April, when the US Congress approved additional funding for military aid to Ukraine.
