This was reported by the publication “Babel” with reference to a comment received from Knyazev.
It is noted that, according to Knyazev, at the checkpoint they checked his documents and asked him to go to the department.
After a thorough check of the documents, we contacted NABU and found out that I had no claims. After that, I left the border service department, – noted Knyazev. – At the moment, I am in Zakarpattia and plan to continue my vacation. By order of the Supreme Court, I am on vacation.
Local journalist Vitaly Glagola also reported on his Telegram channel that Knyazev was released after checking his documents, citing a source in the State Border Service.
They didn’t find anything superficially. They didn’t see his foreign passport visually. They didn’t inspect him in depth, they were afraid of a conflict. He behaved normally, – the source noted. – They handed him over to the police, he said he was going on holiday to Solotvino. They recommended that he leave the Zakarpattia region.
