Poland will not satisfy Kyiv’s request to shoot down Russian missiles flying towards western Ukraine without a corresponding decision being made at NATO level.

    .

The country’s Minister of Defense, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, stated this in an interview with Polish Radio.

He noted that Ukraine has been calling for a long time for missiles flying west to be shot down from the territory of NATO countries.

If the Alliance does not make such decisions, then Poland should in no case make such decisions on its own, the minister noted.

He noted that NATO does not have such a consensus and pointed to the position of the White House, which stated that it does not want an escalation of the conflict.

Of course, there are other procedures for missiles on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Then it is our decision, he emphasized.
