A group of 23 people who were driven to the border by a henchman of the organizer of the illegal scheme in a grain truck have been detained. They were supposed to cover the journey to Moldova on foot. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported this on July 10 in Telegram.
The men paid between $5,000 and $16,000 for the transfer service. However, they were detained on the way abroad. Administrative protocols were drawn up against the Ukrainians. The circle of people involved in the scheme is currently being established.
Let us recall that in June, in Odessa Oblast, border guards exposed a large-scale scheme for illegally transporting almost 100 men across the border. In four buses stopped by the State Bureau of Investigation and the State Tax Service, 47 men were found. The remaining 53 Ukrainians did not manage to reach the “gathering point”.
