Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on Tuesday, July 9, held the first government meeting since the assassination attempt on him in mid-May. The politician announced it on Facebook.
The Slovak Prime Minister posted a photo of the table in the room where the country’s government meets.
“Dear progressive liberal media and opposition, I apologize for the rant, but I’m back,” Fico wrote.
We remind you that on July 8, the Prime Minister of Slovakia traveled outside Bratislava. Fico, leaning on crutches, visited the field to check the grain harvest. It was his first official trip outside the capital after recovering from the assassination attempt.
As you know, on May 15, Juraj Cintula shot Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The assassination attempt took place after the government retreated to the city of Gandlova.
The government said that after surviving the assassination attempt, Fico will suffer permanent health problems.
