The publication “Ukrainian Truth” writes about this, citing sources in the Office of the Prosecutor General and business circles.
According to the publication:
- Bogolyubov left Ukraine on the night of June 24 on the Kyiv-Chelm train;
- he left the country with forged documents, but entered Poland with personal ones;
- The publication’s sources say that the reason for his departure is that the Bureau of Economic Security is preparing a suspicion against him in the PrivatBank case;
- the businessman is in Austria;
- On July 6, the border guard who had allowed him to leave was taken into custody.
It is noted that Bogolyubov is 62 years old, meaning he is not subject to mobilization or travel ban because of this.
After the nationalization of PrivatBank, Bogolyubov, together with Kolomoisky, became the subject of legal investigations related to the withdrawal of funds from the bank.
