In particular, in the village of Urzuf, located 40 km from Mariupol, military units of the Russian Guard were noticed. The invaders are walking around the village in civilian clothes. This was reported by Mariupol Mayor’s Advisor Petr Andryushchenko on Telegram.
Mariupol. Attention. Those who are under occupation and have relatives. A unit of the Russian Guard has arrived in Urzuf. Dressed in civilian clothes. They are walking along the entire coast from Urzuf to Yalta, the report says.
It is noted that Russian security forces are conducting raids on recreation areas. There they are looking for suspicious individuals and those who are dissatisfied with the occupation authorities. There have already been random arrests.
Andryushchenko called on local residents to be careful with their statements on the street and advised them to check their phones.
Let us recall that the Russian invaders are building new fortifications along the Mariupol-Donetsk highway in the area where the road from the village of Granitnoye connects with the highway. Granitnoye is becoming the main logistical artery for the occupiers in providing the front section along the points Volnovakha-Ugledar-Kurakhovskoye direction-Donetsk thanks to the automobile and railway bridges.
