Stoltenberg expects Orban to tell the Alliance about his trip to Russia

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is due to tell the Alliance summit in Washington next week what he discussed with Russian officials during his visit to Moscow. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced this in a press conference in Brussels.

“I hope that when Viktor Orban is in Washington for the NATO summit next week, there will be an opportunity to discuss and respond to his discussions in Moscow. This is something that happens regularly between members of the Alliance, Stoltenberg said.

The Secretary General of NATO added that the Hungarian leader has told his Alliance allies about previous visits to the aggressor country.

Earlier, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Viktor Orban, said in a meeting with the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin in Moscow, that the general policy of the European Union in Russia should be supported.
