LRT media said that we are talking about the following artists: Shaman, Grigory Leps, Polina Gagarina, Oleg Gazmanov and Yulia Chicherina.

The accounts of Russian performers who openly support Russia’s war against Ukraine have been blocked on the YouTube video service. We are talking about performers like Shaman, Grigory Leps, Polina Gagarina, Oleg Gazmanov and Yulia Chicherina, Lithuanian media LRT reports.

However, the blocking of the work of propagandist musicians on the video service is not complete – their songs can still be found on other accounts.

The media wrote the day before that the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK) asked Google and YouTube to delete the accounts of Russian artists included in the European sanctions list for their support of the war in Ukraine.

The blocking of the accounts of Russian singer-propagandists was also confirmed by the Russian service of Radio Liberty.

The reason for the blocking is the restrictive measures introduced against Russian singers by the United States and the European Union as part of the so-called 14th package of sanctions.

We remind you that before the blocking of these accounts, the songs of artists who were fans of Russian aggression disappeared from the Spotify streaming platform.
