The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces met with the commanders of the UAV combat unit and named the priority task.
Drones are one of the priorities for the troops, because in the reality of modern combat operations the number of people killed by drones is equal to artillery. This is what the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky said in Telegram on Friday, July 5.
Syrsky noted that he held a working meeting with the participation of the most successful commanders of the UAV combat unit – Madyar, Achilles, Pharmacist, Flint, Smoke, Charlie, Guru, K-2 and others.
“Our task is to be technologically one step ahead of the enemy both in defeating drones and in protecting against them,” said the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
According to him, the most important task of technology and innovation is to protect the lives of our military.
“Automotive systems are one of the most dynamic areas where changes are taking place every day, and we have no right to be a step behind,” Syrsky emphasized.
Let’s recall that at the end of June, President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on the creation of unmanned system forces in Ukraine. The Forces of Unmanned Systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are headed by Colonel Vadim Sukharevsky.
