According to him, the Ukrainian troops “have better positions in terms of manpower” than a few months ago, and a new counteroffensive is a matter of arming the brigades.
“This is not a deadlock situation, it is a problem situation. A deadlock situation means that there is no way out, but the problem can be solved if there is a desire and more tools,” said Zelensky.
He also praised the $61 billion aid package approved by the US Congress, but stressed that military aid is taking “too long” to reach the front.
“This is the biggest tragedy of this war, that between the decision and the real truth, we are actually waiting a long, long, long time,” Zelensky said.
