Ukraine’s planes and helicopters over the past 24 hours have been attacking Russian manpower and weapons.

Ukrainian fighter jets and helicopters in pairs launched air strikes on the accumulation of enemy manpower and military equipment in three districts of the Kherson region. This was announced on the night of Monday, June 27, by the operational command of the South.

Overall, during the day, the confirmed enemy losses amounted to 39 soldiers and officers, a T-72 tank, four armored units and three vehicles. Three ammunition depots were also destroyed.

It was also reported that Russian troops conducted aerial reconnaissance in the Kherson region, trying to check the positions of Ukrainian units. The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Russian Orlan-10 drones.

It was noted that the fighting in the south took place mainly through artillery duels and air raids. Continuing futile attempts to reclaim lost territories in the Kherson region, the occupiers launched an air strike using a Mi-28 helicopter.

Earlier it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked enemy artillery units deployed in the direction of the Nikolaev region.
