In particular, the parliamentarian reported on inspections of various institutions within the framework of the work of the Temporary Investigative Commission on deforestation even after the termination of its activities. In particular, in October 2022, Tishchenko initiated the creation of the VSK “Nat’s Resource”, according to the documents, it should investigate possible facts of ineffective activities of the State Forest and Water Resources Agencies and the State Environmental Inspectorate. This was reported by the Chestno movement.
Within the framework of this commission, the people’s deputy reported on how he conducts visiting sessions, inspects forestry enterprises and investigates illegal logging. Moreover, Tishchenko even made a special uniform for this VSK. It resembled the uniform of law enforcement officers.
However, in early May 2023, the Verkhovna Rada did not approve the interim report of the forestry commission, so it ceased its activities. However, the deputy continued to travel to various institutions for inspections. He explained these trips by the work of the VSK, and reported this on social networks.
The “Chesno” movement notes that members of the VSK, upon presentation of a people’s deputy’s certificate and on the instructions of the commission, can freely enter any institution regardless of its form of ownership and secrecy regime. The material notes that Tishchenko did this without being an official member of any commission.
In particular, in July last year, the MP reported that he had uncovered a bot farm in one of the Kyiv offices together with the police. The MP himself insisted that he had learned this information from citizens’ appeals to the VSK “Nat’sresurs”.
During the year, the MP regularly wrote about the exposure of call centers and bot farms in various cities of Ukraine as part of the work of the long-defunct VSK on deforestation. More, hiding behind the VSK, Tishchenko also reported on inspections of infrastructure facilities, – reported “Chesno”.
Let us recall that on June 25, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv placed MP Mykola Tyshchenko under round-the-clock house arrest with the wearing of an electronic bracelet for two months.
