A truck was hit by an electric train while crossing railroad tracks at a controlled crossing.
Near Warsaw on the morning of July 1, an accident occurred at a railroad crossing, as a result of which the driver died. This was reported by RMF24.
The accident occurred at the Oltazhew Keramicheskaya railway crossing on the western outskirts of the Polish capital.
A truck with a semi-trailer full of construction materials collided with an electric train heading to Warsaw from the city of Łowicz while crossing the tracks at a controlled crossing.
Construction materials from the semi-trailer were strewn across the road, forcing drivers to block detours. The circumstances of the accident are not yet known.
The driver was seriously injured in the collision and later died in hospital. Another victim, a passenger, was hospitalized.
We remind you that on June 27 in Slovakia, a train carrying Ukrainians collided with a bus. Six deaths were reported. Earlier in Romania, a bus carrying Ukrainians was involved in an accident, nine people were injured.
