The war in Gaza will not end until all goals are achieved – Netanyahu

The Israeli government aims to free all hostages held in the Gaza Strip and ensure that the territory never again poses a threat to Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the operation in the Gaza Strip will continue until Hamas is eliminated and “all other war objectives are achieved.” Netanyahu said this during a cabinet meeting on Sunday, June 30, Politico reports.

“The testament of the fallen is our mission. We will carry it out,” Netanyahu added in a social media post after the cabinet meeting.

He said the Israeli government’s goal is to free all hostages held in the Gaza Strip and ensure that the territory will never again pose a threat to Israel.

“To those who doubt the achievement of these goals, I repeat: Nothing can replace the victory that we will not end the war until we achieve all these goals,” Netanyahu concluded.

Let’s remember that in addition to the war with Hamas, Israel is on the brink of war with Hezbollah, which is demanding a cease-fire in Gaza.

Iran has also threatened Israel with a “war of annihilation.” Israel responded that a regime that threatened destruction deserved to be destroyed.
