During the alarm, air defense operated in the Kyiv region. However, later a call to emergency services was recorded in the Obolonsky district of the capital – debris fell on a residential building. The mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced this on Telegram.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a missile strike in the Obolonsky district of the capital had caused preliminary damage to a multi-story residential building. A balcony on one of the floors caught fire.
Five victims contacted doctors. All are women with an acute reaction to stress. One elderly woman was taken to hospital and others were being treated at the scene.
The State Emergency Service reported that balconies on the sixth and seventh floors were partially destroyed. There is also a risk of destruction of the balcony on the eighth floor of the multi-story building.
In the evening, an air raid alarm was declared in Kyiv and a number of regions. The Ukrainian Air Force warned that a cruise missile was flying towards the capital.
Let us remind you that on June 20, a Russian aerial bomb hit a few meters from the premises of the New Post Office in the Slobodsky district of Kharkov. At least one person was killed and nine were injured. Rescuers are looking for another nine people; these people may be under the rubble.
