Germany, since the beginning of the massive invasion of Russia, has provided Ukraine with primary light weapons at its own expense.
Thus, of the 2,700 Strela anti-aircraft missiles promised by Berlin, only 500 were initially delivered, another 1,500 missiles were moved only after continued appeal from Kyiv. Ukraine also received 500 Stinger missiles, 3,000 faustpatrons and 16 million bullets from Germany.
Recall that the German government on Tuesday published a list of weapons being prepared for transfer to Ukraine-this includes, in particular, 30 Gepard self-propelled artillery mounts, IRIS-T SLM air defense system and M113 armored personnel carrier.
