Since the beginning of the mass invasion, the Russian army has killed 554 children in Ukraine and injured another 1,419 children. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General on Sunday, June 30.
“More than 1,973 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of the all-out armed aggression of the Russian Federation on the morning of June 30, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 554 children were killed and more than 1,419 were killed. injured to varying degrees of severity,” the message said.
Children suffered the most in Donetsk region – 550, Kharkov region – 399, Kherson region – 154, Dnepropetrovsk region – 152, Kyiv region – 130 and Zaporozhye region – 119.
On the day of June 29, 11 children were injured as a result of an enemy attack in the city of Volnyansk, Zaporozhye region. Two girls, ages 10 and 17, and a 15-year-old boy died; eight children, 14-15 years old, were injured to varying degrees of severity.
We remind you that on June 29, the Russians attacked Volnyansk, Zaporozhye district. The invaders killed seven people, three of them children. 31 people were injured, eight of them children. On June 30, a day of mourning was declared for those killed in the Zaporozhye region.
