In the city of Volnyansk in Zaporozhye, search and rescue operations have been completed at the site of the Russian strike carried out yesterday, June 29.

According to preliminary information, seven people were killed, including two people. Another 31 people, including eight children, were injured. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
On June 29 at 17.40, the Russians launched attacks on the central part of the city of Volnyanskaya. As a result, several vehicles and buildings caught fire. Residential buildings, shops, public buildings, critical infrastructure and vehicles were damaged.
At 19:46, emergency workers extinguished the fire. The fire was extinguished in two places simultaneously:
- a two-storey building and an extension, as well as nearby cars, on an area of 300 sq. m;
- two one-story buildings on an area of 150 sq. m.
Law enforcement officers, doctors, paramedics and the Rapid Response Unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked at the scene. The State Emergency Service deployed 50 rescuers and nine units of equipment.
