The Russians plan to increase the number of operational-tactical aviation on the territory of Belarus.
Russia is once again increasing its military presence in Belarus, in particular – military aviation. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR).
“The leadership of institutions and organizations of the Gomel region has warned about the possibility of the return of units of the RF Armed Forces. At the same time, the Russians plan to increase the number of operational-tactical aviation on the territory of Belarus. “Officially, to conduct joint air patrols as part of the joint combat training center for the training of aviation units and air defense units. For 10 planes are scheduled to fly to Baranovichi airfield,” the statement said.
It was noted that since June 22, mobilization exercises have been going on in the Gomel region of Belarus.
“Reservists themselves are now being used to carry out economic work,” GUR said.
It should be recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that Russia will provide Iskander-M to Belarus in the coming months.
Earlier, GUR reported that the Russian Federation intends to draw Belarus into the war.
