South Korea has expanded the list of goods it is prohibited to export to the Russian Federation

The list includes metal cutting equipment, parts of optical devices, and sensors. Currently, the list of the South Korean Ministry of Industry consists of 1,402 items.

On June 28, South Korea added 243 units to the list of products prohibited from export to Russia and Belarus due to the possibility of using them for military purposes. Yonhap reports.

It is noted that this list, in particular, includes metal cutting equipment, parts of optical instruments, and sensors. Currently, the list of the South Korean Ministry of Industry consists of 1,402 items.

The new rules are expected to start being implemented before the end of August after the necessary procedures are completed.

Let’s recall that last year South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy added another 682 items to the list of restrictions regarding heavy construction equipment, batteries, aircraft parts, machinery, etc. .
