Swedish retailer IKEA returns to Ukraine

Forbes Ukraine reports this, citing sources. The company’s management made the decision to resume operations in May. Preparations are currently underway to open a store in Kyiv.
One of the main factors for the Swedish retailer was the successful reopening of H&M and Inditex Zara and Bershka stores.
It is noted that the decision to resume work was made by IKEA management back in May, four sources told Forbes Ukraine. Among them are two top managers of shopping centers.
A top manager of a company working in one of the IKEA shopping malls in Kyiv says that they are currently removing signs from the facade for repairs – adjusting diodes, updating fasteners.
