Deported Ukrainians can go home without passports – Vereshchuk

Deported Ukrainians who arrive at the border with Ukraine will be allowed to pass without documents. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk on the air of the telethon.

“Three-quarters of the total number of people who went through these horrible filtration camps have escaped, but not all of them have returned to Ukraine. We are now building routes where free vehicles will run to help the Ukrainians without money and without passports. No, they were selected in these filtration camps. We will help them get to Ukraine, “he said.

According to Vereshchuk, the routes will run from Estonia, Latvia, as the largest flow of deportees returns from this part.

“Our borders with the Russian Federation are closed, but we have an agreement with the border guards, if the Ukrainians manage to reach the border with Ukraine, we will pass without passports, without identity documents. The main thing is to find a way to go home, we will help with tickets, with passport documents, ”she said.

Remember that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians will not be able to return home from the Russian Federation.

It was also reported that the Russian Federation had deported more than 300 thousand children from Ukraine.
