The accident occurred on June 24, around 11:15 in the city of Stuttgart. A BMW car, driven by a 69-year-old woman, drove through the barrier and crashed into the motorcycle of a 61-year-old police officer accompanying Orban’s car. The law enforcement officer was thrown onto the official motorcycle of another escort officer. Both were hospitalized, but the 61-year-old policeman later died from his injuries. This was reported by Bild.
The investigation of the accident was taken over by the Ludwigsburg Police Department so that the deceased’s colleagues would not be involved in the investigation.
Orban was in Germany for the European Football Championship and watched the Hungarian team’s victory over Scotland.
Let us remind you that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg agreed that Budapest will not block NATO’s decision on Ukraine, but will not participate in supporting Kyiv.
