Photographers called the visit to Russian prisoners one of the biggest emotional traumas since the start of the full-scale invasion.

Photographers Konstantin and Vlada Liberov talk about visiting Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine.

“We talked to Russian prisoners when we visited a prisoner of war camp. This was our biggest emotional trauma during a full-scale invasion,” recalled Konstantin Liberov on Pryam Chervona’s YouTube channel.

Vlada Liberova added that Russian prisoners of war in Ukraine are improving their health.

“They live there like a sanatorium. Three balanced meals a day based on calories. They improve their health. By the time we got there, there were a lot of Wagners there, and the Wagners had problems, mostly advanced hepatitis or tuberculosis. They come here, and here they have full supervision and care. They even improve their health. There is even a luxury dental office. They can work, where they will receive a salary, which they can spend on calling their relatives or at a store in the camp. At the same time they receive a salary there. What I got from this whole story is that the moment when Ukraine was drowning in blackouts, there was no communication at all. But they have a connection, even a light. They killed it once, and then the Red Cross came, God, God, the Geneva Convention, touch the generator, “Vlada was angry.

An incredible contrast in the attitude towards Ukrainian prisoners of war in Russia.

Let’s remember that a day before the Liberovs published pictures of Ukrainian soldiers in captivity. The couple noted that the photos taken at the rehabilitation center were published with the permission of the defenders themselves. During their stay in Russian dungeons, the Ukrainian military lost 40-50 kg of weight. Currently, the military is assisted by rehabilitation specialists and psychologists.
