The Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office reported this to the Public on June 23. Prosecutors filed a corresponding petition in court.
Earlier this woman was declared a suspect. After receiving the results from the doctors, a petition will likely be filed to place the woman in a medical facility, taking into account the state of her health, law enforcement officers told us.
A 60-year-old woman is suspected under Part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – desecration of a grave, committed out of hooligan motives.
The sanction of the article provides for up to seven years in prison, but the woman has been assigned a psychiatric examination, which should determine whether she is subject to prosecution.
