Tomorrow the light may dim for four hours. All oblenergos will apply hourly outage schedules only from 19:00 to 23:00. The situation with light has improved, because on weekends there is a decrease in electricity consumption. The Ukrenergo company reported this on Telegram.
If the situation in the energy system changes, additional notification will be given about the application of consumption restriction measures, the energy sector emphasized.
As you know, the lights in Ukraine began to be turned off due to a shortage of electricity that arose due to massive Russian attacks on the energy sector. The enemy destroyed several large thermal power plants and thermal power plants, and also disabled the Dnieper hydroelectric power station.
Let us remind you that on June 8, testing of a new method for distributing the volume of electrical capacity deficit across regions began. Ukrenergo stated that a preliminary analysis showed that the technique is effective and consumers across regions are now evenly blocked from light.
