The spokesperson of the State Border Service said: intelligence units monitor what is happening on the other side of the border.
The State Border Guard Service does not record any concentration of troops on the territory of Belarus on the border with Ukraine. The representative of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko said this on the air of the United News telethon, reports Ukrinform.
“Near our border on the other side, on the territory of Belarus, there is no accumulation of troops, or movement of equipment or personnel the Russian Federation does not yet have units in this direction that it can use against Ukraine,” he said.
The spokesperson of the State Border Service also stated that intelligence units are monitoring what is happening on the other side of the border.
“We must be ready for the development of any situation, so we will continue to strengthen the border line and the borders of the areas, so that if the situation changes – the intelligence units will definitely report it – we will strengthen it or the that direction accordingly,” added Demchenko.
We remind you that on June 13, Poland introduced a buffer zone on the border with Belarus. The section covers 60.67 km of the Polish-Belarusian border. It is located within the area of responsibility of border posts in Narevka, Belovez, Dubiche-Tserkovna and Cherems.
At the beginning of June, a soldier died in Poland, who a few days earlier was wounded with a knife by an illegal migrant trying to enter the country from the territory of Belarus.
