The deceased began his service in 2007 at the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
He served in various units, particularly the Kherson special police patrol battalion and special police battalion.
The national police added that the 36-year-old deceased policeman is survived by his parents, a policeman wife and a 12-year-old daughter.
