EU leaders approved Croatia’s transition to the euro

It is expected that in July, after negotiations with the EU and the European Central Bank, legislative laws should be adopted that will allow Croatia to switch to the euro from 1 January 2023.

The heads of the member states of the European Union approved the transfer of Croatia to the euro currency. About that nature President of the European Council Charles Michel.

“The euro is the monetary expression of our common destiny and part of our European dream. Now a dream is coming true for Croatia. Congratulations to Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, because Croatia will join the eurozone,” he said.
