Vladimir Zelensky, the President of Ukraine dismissed Vasily Zvarych from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland.

The corresponding decree No. 366/2024 was published today, June 21, on the website of the Office of the President.
By another decree – No. 367/2024 – Zvarich was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Czech Republic.
Zvarych has served as Ambassador to Poland since the beginning of February 2022. There has been no Ukrainian ambassador to the Czech Republic since July 2022, when Yevhen Perebiynis, now Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, was dismissed from this post.
In addition, by decree No. 368/2024, Zelensky appointed Ivan Dovganich Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Iraq.
Also today, decree No. 369/2024 was published on the appointment of Alexander Karasevich as the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
Let us recall that Presidential Decree No. 365/2024, published today, approved the composition of the Ukrainian delegation to participate in the negotiations on concluding the Agreement on Ukraine’s accession to the European Union.
