32 air targets were shot down: four X-101/X-555 cruise missiles; an X-59 guided aircraft missile; 27 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type.
On the night of June 20, the Russians attacked Ukraine with air- and ground-based missiles, as well as Shahed-type attack UAVs. Air defense forces shot down 5 missiles and 27 attack drones. This was announced by the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Nikolai Oleshchuk.
According to him, the enemy used 9 missiles of different types and 27 attack UAVs:

four X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95 MS strategic aviation aircraft (launch area – airspace over the Caspian Sea);

three Iskander-M ballistic missiles (from the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation);

two X-59 guided aircraft missiles (from the airspace over the Sea of Azov);

27 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type (launch area – Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF).
Oleschuk noted that critical infrastructure facilities were attacked. The main direction of the attack was the East of Ukraine, especially the Dnepropetrovsk region.
The enemy air attack was repelled by fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare equipment of the Air Force, and crews of the mobile fire group of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Air defense is managed in Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Nikolaev, Kherson, Kharkov, Kyiv, Cherkassy, Poltava and Vinnitsa regions.
Earlier it was reported that in Kyiv air defense destroyed all enemy attack drones on approaches to the capital.
We remind you that during the night, as a result of the attack of the Russian army, civil energy infrastructure facilities in four regions of Ukraine were damaged.
