Northrop Grumman from the USA plans to establish production of ammunition in Ukraine.

Dave Bartell, director of international business for Northrop Grumman Defense Systems, announced the corresponding plans at the Eurosatory defense exhibition. The Northrop agreement is the first publicly acknowledged agreement between a US defense minister and the Ukrainian government. This was reported by Breaking Defense.
This will be the company’s first project that will be paid for in Ukrainian dollars. First they plan to produce medium-caliber ammunition, and subsequently shells for 155 mm tanks.
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the US State Department for Political-Military Affairs Stanley Brown confirmed these plans at the Eurosatory arms exhibition in Paris. However, Northrop declined to comment.
As you know, the American military-industrial company Northrop Grumman Corporation is considered one of the world’s largest weapons manufacturers and suppliers of military technologies.
Let us remind you that in June the first joint production site of Ukroboronprom and Rheinmetall opened in Ukraine – a workshop for the repair and production of armored vehicles. This will allow foreign equipment to be repaired faster and, accordingly, returned to the front line faster.
