At about 4:00, Ukrainian infantrymen received a command to go to a certain point where a Russian tank had already been stopped. He was stopped thanks to artillery and our unmanned systems unit – they chased him at night, disorienting him. That is, the tank was hit and disoriented.
The infantry captured two Russians. One was sitting with a grenade and wanted to blow himself up, but through diplomatic efforts they managed to convince him to live and surrender.
The third jumped out and disappeared, our neighbors took him prisoner,” said press officer of the 22nd Mechanized Brigade Vitaly Sokolenko.
In the video you can see how soldiers from the 22nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade made their way onto the tank and captured the occupiers who were there. After which they placed a Ukrainian banner with the brigade sign on it, started it up and, together with the captured occupiers, went to their positions.
