The Romanian Foreign Ministry sent a note to Russian diplomats refusing to issue visas for the entire delegation.
Due to Russia’s war against Ukraine, Romania refused to grant visas to the entire Russian delegation for the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which will be held in Bucharest. Russian senator Grigory Karasin reported this on his Telegram channel.
He said that Russia received a note from the Romanian Foreign Ministry.
The document states that due to “Russia’s aggression against Ukraine,” none of the members of the Russian delegation will be granted visas or allowed to enter the country.
The OSCE PA session is scheduled for the end of June.
Let’s recall that last spring the United States for a long time did not issue a visa to the Russian delegation that heads the UN Security Council.
And at the end of last year, Bulgaria refused to allow the plane of the Russian Foreign Minister to take off with the official representative of the Russian diplomatic department Maria Zakharova on board.
