As European Pravda writes, in the May draft decision of the Summit there was not a single mention of the word “aggression”; now the text speaks of “Russian aggression against Ukraine”.

The previous draft decision created a legal window to, if necessary, include Ukraine’s renunciation of part of its territory in the conditions of “sustainable peace from Russia.”

Now the draft decision clearly states that the basis for sustainable peace will only be “a decision that will be based on the principle of respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states.”

The previous project blurred the meaning of the “peace formula” and opened up space for discussion of all alternative visions of peace, for example, the Chinese-Brazilian one, which included stopping the strengthening of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stopping hostilities.

The new wording says that only those peace proposals that comply with international law and the UN Charter will be taken into account.

In addition, in the new draft, the Swiss agreed not to mention Russia at all in the provisions regarding peace negotiations, and we are talking about “all parties.”

Meanwhile, the Office of the President made a documentary about the Peace Formula that Ukraine proposes for a just end to the war

The hour-long film was shown on June 12 during the telethon. Today the film was published on the YouTube channel of the Office of the President.

The Global Peace Summit will take place this weekend, June 15-16, in Switzerland.
