From now on, not a single official representative of Armenia will go to Belarus, the head of the Armenian government promised.
Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will not go to Belarus. He said this in a speech to parliament, News.am reports on Thursday, June 13.
“One of the leaders of the CSTO countries states that he took part in the preparations for the war, encouraged it, believed in it and wished victory for Azerbaijan. And after all this, I must go and discuss something in the format of CSTO head of Belarus?” – Pashinyan said, while allowing contacts within the CIS and EAEU.
“I declare definitely and irrevocably: now I will not go to Belarus even now – while Alexander Lukashenko is “president” in Belarus And in general, from now on, not an official representative of Armenia will go to Belarus No,” he promised Pashinyan.
He also spoke again about the possible withdrawal of Armenia from the CSTO.
“We have frozen our participation in the CSTO. The next logical step is to leave this organization. The government did not indicate in its program that Armenia remains a member of the CSTO. We said that there are questions that need We will still decide when it should happen in a month, or maybe in a year or even three years,” he said.
Let’s remember that in May Pashinyan said that two CSTO countries helped prepare the war against Armenia. At the same time, he responded to the words of Alexander Lukashenko, which he said during a meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on May 16.
“Lukashenko didn’t lie when he spoke about it, and I’m glad that I got him to speak about it publicly but there are still some who should tell everything publicly,” Pashinyan said.
Let’s remember that during a meeting with Aliyev in Baku, Lukashenko said: “I also thought, I remembered our conversation before the war, your war of liberation, when we talked philosophically at dinner It is possible to win the war It is very important to maintain this success.
