Employees of the Latgale Department of the Riga Municipal Police detained an aggressive man wearing a baseball cap with Russian symbols. Delfi reported it.
When Riga police passed the two men on patrol, one of them shouted at the crew. At the same time, the police noticed that the man in question was wearing a cap with symbols glorifying Russia, which is a violation of the law.
When talking to the man, law enforcement officers repeatedly asked him to remove his baseball cap, to which the man did not respond and, on the contrary, provoked the police. When he was imprisoned, he behaved aggressively, resisting the demands of police officers and insulting them.
Two administrative processes were launched against the aggressive person. First, if you violate public order, you will be punished with a warning or a fine of up to 500 euros second, if you use symbols in public places that glorify military aggression and war crimes, you will be punished with a warning or a; fine of up to 350 euros.
