Ukrainian troops must focus on holding occupied lines and positions, preventing a breakthrough of the defense and destroying the enemy’s manpower and equipment as much as possible. It is necessary to achieve an advantage, reduce losses, change defensive and offensive psychology. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky reported this on Facebook.
According to him, to accomplish these tasks, the command is focusing efforts on improving the quality of training with units undergoing combat coordination. During the exercises, issues of combating enemy UAVs and protection from them, movement on the battlefield, the use of electronic warfare equipment, evacuation of the wounded and many other issues relevant in modern combat conditions are worked out.
Syrsky also informed that the aggressive army of Russia concentrated on the Pokrovsky and Kurakhovsky directions of the front. The Russians concentrated the largest number of their assault units from eight shock brigades.
However, in Volchansk in the north of the Kharkov region, the enemy is “loaded”, despite the attracted forces and means, which are constantly replenished from units in other directions.
Until now, the enemy has not given up attempts to capture Vremya Yar, Klishchievka and Kalinovka, which will allow him to advance in the direction of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. The enemy is also storming Belogorovka in the Lugansk region and rushing to Seversk in two directions.
In the Zaporozhye direction, the aggressor attacks in the Staromayorskoe and Robotino areas, but was not successful.
Let us remind you that soldiers of the 55th, 59th and 79th brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, with the support of adjacent formations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, stopped a mechanized assault by the Russians in the area of the village of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region.
