During the four months of the Russian Federation’s massive armed aggression on Ukraine, 948 children suffered – 338 died and 610 were wounded. This was announced on June 24 by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 335, Kharkiv – 177, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Luhansk – 55, Kherson – 52, Mykolaiv – 48, Zaporozhye – 31, Sumy – 17,” said GPU.
It is emphasized that the numbers are not final, as the work is being carried out in areas of active combat, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Juvenile prosecutors reported that on June 23, as a result of the explosion of a phosphorus bomb in the Sumy district of the Sumy region, a 13-year-old boy received burns on his legs, and in Chuguev, region of Kharkiv, two children aged nine and six were injured in the Russian attack.
During the shelling in Lisichansk, Luhansk region, a child was injured. In addition, due to the shelling of the occupiers in the Volnovakhsky district of the Donetsk region, five children were killed and the same number were injured.
It was also found that as a result of the indiscriminate shelling by Russian military personnel on residential buildings in Mariupol, Donetsk region, from March to May, nine children were killed and eight were injured in various severity.
It will be recalled that as a result of the Russian shelling off the coast in the town of Chasov Yar, Donetsk region, one person was killed and 11 were injured. The victims included six children.
