A powerful explosion occurred at the Mesko arms factory in the Świętokrzyskie region of southern Poland. As a result, a 59-year-old employee died. This was reported by RMF FM on Monday, June 10.
An explosion occurred in the middle of the rocket fuel, followed by flames. According to preliminary data, one is injured and one is dead.
The head of the plant, Elzbieta Szreniawska, noted that the explosion occurred at the rocket fuel center, which was put into operation a few years ago.
There are three people inside the center. One person got out of the room alone, the other two had to be helped. One of the workers could not be saved.
Plant management is investigating what caused the explosion.
The Mesko plant in Skarzysko-Kamienna produces weapons and ammunition.
