As Dmitry Lazutkin, a representative of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said, “this will finally equate the information in the Obereg electronic registry to an electronic military registration document.”
As David Arakhamia, chairman of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction and member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, previously explained, thanks to Qr there will be no need to carry a military ID. Such a code would work “similarly to a COVID certificate.”
As Dmitry Lazutkin noted, in three weeks, from May 18, more than 1.6 million military personnel, conscripts and reservists updated their data in the Reserve+ mobile application. Of these, more than 200 thousand are women.
