The Rockers game is scheduled for Grammy Awards every Sunday in Las Vegas, such as spring events at the Beale Street Music Festival; New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival; Columbia, Maryland; Rally, North Carolina; Daytona Beach; Charlotte, North Carolina; Boston Call Music Festival; And summer dates in Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and the United Kingdom.
“We are extremely saddened to announce the cancellation of all upcoming Foo Fighters tour dates due to the extraordinary loss of our brother,” the group said in a statement on Tuesday.
Hawkins died Friday while on a South American tour with a rock band. He is 50 years old.
“We regret and share the frustration that we did not see ourselves as expected,” the group said in a statement. “Instead, let’s take this time to suffer, heal, reunite our loved ones and appreciate all the music and memories we have created together.”
Hawkins was Alan Morissette’s touring drummer when he joined Foo Fighters in 1997. He played on the band’s biggest albums including “One by One” and “In Your Honor” and hit singles such as “Best of You “.
In singer David Grohl’s 2021 book The Narrator, he called Hawkins “another mother’s brother, my best friend, a man I’m going to date.”
