The President of France Emmanuel Macron on Sunday, June 9, against the backdrop of exit polls on the results of the elections to the European Parliament, announced the dissolution of the National Assembly (lower house of parliament) and called early parliamentary elections, reports BFM TV.

The elections are scheduled for June 30 and July 7.

According to exit polls, the National Pro-Russian Rally Marine Le Pen party won in France, the conservative bloc of the opposition CDU/CSU won in Germany, and the far-right pro-Russian Freedom Party won in Austria.
