There may be two damaged Russian Su-57 aircraft. The representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov announced this on Sunday, June 9, in a telethon, writes RBC-Ukraine.
“There is data that continues to clarify that there is preliminary information that there may be two Su-57 aircraft affected. There is also information about irreparable losses and injuries to the personnel of the invaders,” said Yusov.
He added that the Main Intelligence Directorate only stated the fact of the defeat, but did not comment on the method of destruction, or who carried out the operation.
Noting that the information is still being clarified, Yusov stressed that this is very good news for Ukraine, as this is the first combat defeat of this “ultra-modern” aircraft.
Earlier on June 9, the Main Intelligence Directorate announced the first defeat of a Su-57 aircraft in Russia. Intelligence did not specify where exactly the airport in Akhtubinsk was attacked. Social networks reported that the Su-57 lost its combat capability after the attack.
