Russian State Duma representative Yuri Shvytkin said the Russian army should hit the US embassy in Kyiv, as well as the government quarter, due to the transfer of HIMARS MLRS to Ukraine. He said this on Thursday, June 23, in a comment to the Russian media.
According to Shvytkin, the transfer of the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system to Ukraine was a step towards the third world war on the part of the United States.
“You have to understand that we must respond harshly. In my opinion, now the reaction must also take place in those countries that supply weapons. And not only destroy the infrastructure and so on, but I think the main center of decision making is the U.S. Embassy, ”Shvytkin said.
According to the deputy of the State Duma, sooner or later the embassy will be the target of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and the so -called “People’s Militia of the DPR and LPR.” The official also said that the government quarter in Kyiv needs to be destroyed. He said the Russian Defense Ministry was working in this direction, but a broader strike needed to be delivered.
Recall that the first three systems of HIMARS have already arrived in Ukraine. This was announced today in the Ministry of Defense, which promised the occupiers a “hot summer.” Also, according to media reports, today the White House will announce the transfer of new HIMARS systems in Ukraine.
