In Ukraine, there are no plans to turn off the lights on Sunday, June 9. This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo.
“The use of hourly shutdown schedules for industrial and household consumers is not predictable,” the statement said.
The reason for this decision is the decrease in electricity consumption over the weekend and the return to operation of the power unit at the nuclear power plant.
“If the situation in the energy system changes, the application of restrictive measures will also be notified,” added Ukrenergo.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation with outages will be difficult during the week. The improvement is only predicted at the end of the week.
Power engineers also predict that in the coming months – July will be the most difficult period for the energy system.
