On the night of June 8, the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down a Russian Kh-59 guided missile and nine Shahed-type attack drones. This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Nikolai Oleshchuk.
According to him, the Russians attacked Ukraine with the Kh-59 guided missile from the Kursk region (Russian Federation) and launched 13 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type from the areas of Kursk (Russian Federation) and Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
As a result of the battle, the crews of the mobile fire group of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare equipment of the Air Force shot down nine Shahed drones and one X-59 missile within the Kharkov, Zaporozhye, Poltava and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
We remind you that the border guards destroyed three cannon artillery units of the Russian invaders in the direction of Zaporozhye.
It was earlier reported that SBU drones hit a Russian Nebo-SVU long-range radar detection system worth about $100 million in Crimea.
