The Lithuanian government has approved the appointment of Inga Stanytė-Toločkienė as Ambassador to Ukraine. He should replace Waldemar Sarapinas, who is finishing his work in Ukraine. Delfi reported this on Thursday, June 6.
Inga Stanite-Toločkienė is the Political Director of the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The diplomat, who previously held the position of ambassador to Armenia, will become a representative in Kyiv from August 19.
In addition, the government appointed heads of diplomatic missions in Georgia, Canada and a Lithuanian representative to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).
We remind you that Lithuania has joined the coalition of countries providing assistance to Ukraine’s air defense.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine will receive military assistance from Lithuania within the framework of the air defense coalition – six Amber-1800 radars.
