They explained that universities located in front-line and border regions will have a special regional coefficient.
The regional coefficient is the coefficient by which the competitive score is multiplied if the applicant chooses an educational institution located in a certain region.
Regional odds:
- 1.07 – Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Odessa, Sumy, Kharkov, Chernihiv regions.
- 1.04 – Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava regions, as well as Buchansky district of the Kyiv region.
- 1.00 – for universities in other regions.
Also, if a student has a master’s degree and wants to receive another master’s diploma, he can enroll without passing the EVI and EFOV, but only through exams directly at the educational institution. This does not apply to the specialties “Law” and “International Law”.
In addition, students who receive a bachelor’s degree in 2024 can take advantage of special conditions for admission to a master’s program.
Earlier, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine announced that it would become easier for students to obtain a certificate for deferment. Now the certificate of the education applicant is available in the Unified State Electronic Database for Education (EDEBO).
To obtain a certificate, students must contact their educational institution. The educational institution will generate these certificates in the Unified State Examination of Economic Education and issue them to students of full-time or dual forms of study. This innovation will greatly simplify the process of obtaining the necessary documents for students.
